Frank Coates

Prior to joining Dynasty, Frank served as Co-President of Data and Analytics for Envestnet, Inc. Prior to Envestnet, frank co-founded and was CEO of Wheelhouse Analytics, acquired by Envestnet in 2016. Frank has long been recognized for providing innovative technology and data and analytical solutions to the investment management industry. Prior to co-founding Wheelhouse Analytics in 2010, Frank founded Coates Analytics, LP, where as CEO, he pioneered the development of asset flow analytics and dashboard technology in the retail financial product distribution industry. In 2007, Coates Analytics was acquired by PNC Global Investment Servicing (formerly PFPC).

Frank has held numerous executive positions in the wealth management industry including head of sales, head of marketing, director of separate accounts, chief investment strategist. He is an independent director for the Blackstone Alternative Asset Management funds. He is a highly regarded industry thought leader and is often quoted in industry journals. Frank has more than 20 years of experience in financial services focused primarily on business management, technology, and the distribution of financial products.

Frank is a graduate of Siena College where he majored in Computer Science and minored in Mathematics. Prior to starting his wealth management career, Frank served as a U.S. Army Officer from 1986-1990. He earned his Chartered Financial Analyst in 1993.

Frank has been married to his exceptional wife, Tara, for 33 years. He is actively involved with numerous veteran-related non-profits, enjoys all outdoor activities, and is a part-time Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
